I sat down with Master Distiller Johnny Schuler to review and taste the Pisco Portón Portfolio. Pisco Portón was named Pisco Distillery of the Year at the 2013 New York International Spirits Competition where it won 1 Gold, 2 Silvers and 1 Bronze medal in the trade buyers only spirits competition. In this installment, Schuler discusses how Pisco is made, explains the differences between the different piscos and why the Pisco Portón Distillery is special.
