Video Exclusive: Bronx Brewery Debuts Bronx Banner Ale

Last week, one of our roving professors, Kiwi Callahan, had the opportunity to visit two-time NY International Beer Competition New York City Brewery of the Year winners, Bronx Brewery, and attend the launch party for their newest beer. Not only is Bronx Banner a refreshing kölsch style ale that is perfect for summer sipping, 5% of the proceeds benefit New York Restoration Project initiatives in the Bronx. The beer is set to release today, August 15th. Callahan spoke to the brewery's VP of Marketing, Patrick Libonate, as well NYRP Director of Creative Strategies David Keith about the beer and the project that benefits communities in one of the lesser traveled boroughs by sprucing things up to make it a more desired destination. She also captured scenes from the party, which featured works by artists, DJ spins and food all hailing from the Bronx.
